This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Renti processes, for which purposes, on what legal grounds, with whom it may be shared, and what rights you have as a data subject. By using renti.re, our mobile interfaces, and related services (the “Platform”), you confirm that you have read this Policy.
1. Who processes your data
The data controller is Individual Entrepreneur Anton Kolbushkin (identification number 145995144), registered on June 17, 2026 by the National Agency of Public Registry (Ministry of Justice of Georgia) and operating under the “Renti” brand (“Renti”, “we”). Renti is a platform for finding, renting, and buying real estate in Georgia (primarily Tbilisi and Batumi) that connects tenants and buyers with owners and partner brokers. For data-protection questions, contact us at privacy@renti.re; the registered address is available on request.
2. Data we collect
We process only the data needed to operate the Platform:
- Account data. When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, profile picture (avatar), and Google account identifier. With email sign-in — your email and the password you set (stored encrypted).
- Request and inquiry data. Name, contact details, preferred viewing time, property preferences, and other information you provide when sending a viewing request, a support inquiry, or an owner/partner submission.
- Communications. Messages you exchange via the Platform’s built-in chat and the Renti Telegram bot, including attachments.
- Technical data. IP address, device and browser type, language settings, pages and actions on the Platform, cookie identifiers, and similar technologies.
- Candidate data. If you apply for a job — contact details and the résumé you upload.
We do not request special categories of data (health, religion, political views, etc.) and ask that you not submit them through the Platform.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
- providing access to the Platform, authentication, and account management — to perform our contract (the Terms and Conditions);
- processing viewing requests, routing them to the assigned broker, and enabling communication between parties — to perform the contract;
- user support and dispute resolution — based on our legitimate interest in a quality service;
- security, fraud prevention, and enforcement of the Use Policy — based on legitimate interest;
- improving the Platform and usage analytics — based on legitimate interest or your consent (for optional cookies);
- sending marketing messages — only with your separate consent (see Marketing Communications Consent).
4. Platform communication model
Communication between tenants/buyers and brokers/owners takes place through the Platform. Parties’ direct contact details are not published in public listings by default — this protects users and prevents abuse. By submitting a request, you agree that the related data will be made available to the assigned broker or owner to the extent necessary to handle your request.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We engage providers who process data on our behalf and under our control:
- Supabase — database hosting, authentication, and file storage; data is hosted in a data center within the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany);
- Vercel — hosting and delivery of the web application;
- Google — authentication via “Sign in with Google” (to the extent needed for sign-in);
- Telegram — message delivery if you use the Renti Telegram bot;
- analytics and error-monitoring providers — to the extent of the technical data required for stable operation.
We may also disclose data where required by law, in response to a lawful request from authorities, or to protect the rights and safety of Renti and its users.
6. International transfers
Because our providers host infrastructure in the EU, your data may be processed outside Georgia. In such cases we take reasonable measures to ensure a level of protection comparable to applicable Georgian data protection law.
7. Retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected: account data — while your account exists; request and communication data — for the duration of handling the request and a reasonable period afterwards to resolve potential disputes; technical logs — for a limited time. After these periods, data is deleted or anonymized.
8. Your rights
In respect of your data, you have the right to:
- access your data and obtain a copy;
- request correction of inaccurate data;
- request erasure (“right to be forgotten”);
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- withdraw consent previously given (without affecting processing before withdrawal);
- lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
To exercise your rights, write to us at privacy@renti.re. We will respond within the timeframe set by applicable law.
9. Cookies
We use necessary cookies to operate authentication and remember your settings (such as the chosen language) and — with your consent — analytics cookies. You can manage cookies in your browser settings; disabling necessary cookies may limit the Platform.
10. Security
We apply organizational and technical safeguards: database-level access controls, encrypted connections, and limited access for staff and providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we continually work to improve it.
11. Minors
The Platform is intended for persons aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you become aware that a minor has provided us with data, contact privacy@renti.re and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. The current version is always available on this page; we aim to accompany material changes with an additional notice. The effective date is shown at the top of the document.
13. Contact
